FRANKE Grinding Technology is a second-generation family business. While the focus used to be on saw blades, the company has since specialised in cutting tools.
Today, the team of five works for a large number of renowned customers in the region between Karlsruhe and Freiburg.
Günter Franke OHG is founded. In addition to the operation of a tool grinding shop, the focus is on the trade with tools and machine tools.
The company moves into a new, 108 m2 production facility in Kehl-Marlen.
The company changes its legal form and now trades under the name Günter Franke GmbH.
The existing production area is extended to 240 m2.

Michael Franke is appointed as an additional managing director of the company.
